It is absorbed through the plant foliage or roots.

Directions for Use:

TOMATOES & VEGETABLES: 3 capfuls (27 mL) per watering can. Spray foliage to point of run off or water soil and roots every 10 to 14 days.

SEEDLINGS: 1 capful (9 mL) per 9L watering can. Stand seedling/plants in solution for 30 min before planting, then plant seedlings and water them in with the Maxicrop solution.
